Here's an audio love letter for BLACK PANTHER fans who can't get enough of the film, its characters, comic book roots, and late star, Chadwick Boseman. The publisher gathered dozens of experts to write essays discussing the film, its impact on society, and how it affected them personally. The authors' passion comes through in the delivery of their personal essays and stories. Costume designer Ruth Carter speaks with pride and a touch of sadness at the loss of Boseman. Writer Tre Johnson clearly explains the characteristics of the mythical "vibranium" and suggests what it represents. His narration is smooth and commanding. Each narrator lends a slightly different quality to the work, speaking in their own voice. The production is a handsome tribute to the world of Wakanda. M.S. © AudioFile 2022, Portland, Maine
